Analyzing, designing, and preparing the project to win a tender for Heembouw as our client.

INTRODUCTION
This project involved working in a group of students to analyze and prepare a project in order to win a tender. The focus was on understanding the requirements of the assignment and developing a well-founded design proposal. My role within the team was to design and translate our ideas into clear visual and technical outputs.
This included creating site drawings and conducting analyses related to construction logistics, such as the positioning and use of construction cranes. We were also responsible for proposing a suitable construction method and developing the corresponding technical details to support this approach.
I explored these aspects through multiple sketches, testing different ideas and construction principles. These sketches were later refined and worked out into more detailed drawings, forming a clear and structured proposal that could support the tender process.

CONSTRUCTION SITE
Construction site layout refers to ensuring that all construction activities are carried out safely within the site, without affecting the surrounding area. Due to the shape and height of the building, it was decided to split the project into two parts, A and B, which are constructed simultaneously. As a result, both sides have their own crane. Since this introduces several risks, a risk assessment was developed. Based on this, visualizations were created showing crane radius, height, and safety measures to prevent accidents. In addition, parking areas and truck routes were defined to ensure that construction logistics could run smoothly and efficiently.
DETAILS & CONSTRUCTION
The task also included identifying materials and types of elements using a legend and several drawings. This makes the overview more clear and can later be used for preparing the cost estimate. By using colors, it is easy to indicate where certain materials should or should not be applied, and how the building is constructed. From this, details were developed as well as analyses of the construction sequence, required materials, and material types.
